Organic Ume Plum Vinegar
Description
- Umesu is a byproduct of making umeboshi, salt-cured “ume” plum, which has been enjoyed in Japan for centuries. The plum extract from the curing stone fruit tastes tangy and salty.
- Fukami’s Organic Umesu’s only two ingredients are the organic Nanko ume plums grown by the Fukami Family, the fourth-generation farm in Wakayama Prefecture, and sea salt.
- The golden colored liquid is a pure extract from ume plums and is obtained after a 6-months long filtration process with no water added; because of this, it concentrates the umami and the nutritional components that include calcium, magnesium, citric acid, malic acid, and polyphenols.
